Reserved a room on the phone and they said it would be $1300. Once I got to the hotel they told us it would be $1650 which is $350 pesos more. Rooms were dirty even saw roaches crawling under a mirror. Beds were uncomfortable. Loud bar next door which keeps you from sleeping. Bathroom was very dirty and small as well. Only nice this was the location employees were also pretty nice.

Hotel Aurora was great. I paid 1100 pesos for a room with 2 queen beds. The air worked well. The water was hot. The location is good near the zocolo. My only complaint was the design of the shower. The shower head was not adjustable, and at my height, it was aimed directly at my face. I am a little taller than the average Oaxaca, so I can imagine they would have the same issue. It made it difficult to wash my lower parts. But, one negative mark on an otherwise great stay.

I checked all the international standards and I have no idea where these guys got their 3rd star. The hotel and rooms are very basic. Its clean and everything is working but still. The best thing during the stay was the guy on the front desk. We was so cool and friendly I felt like his best friend. I would even grab a beer with him if I had the opportunity to do so.

Front desk ladies were very helpful and cool. As a single male staying for a night and half I say this place is cool. Showers were good. They had hot water 👍 Close to the Centro and bars/restaurants. I was able to checkout at 5pm with a little extra fee of course. And they got me a taxi to take me to the airport.

This hotel was awful. Dirty corridors, Bed bugs in at least 3 bedrooms, loud karaoke next door until 4.00am. Breakfast thrown at you and limited, cheap orange juice, dreadful coffee, had to go somewhere else and get breakfast, only reason to go here I imagine would be it must be cheap

If I were only to rate this hotel on location and friendly staff ONLY I would give it 5 stars, but it’s not. The room would benefit from a deep cleaning, especially in the bathroom. The tile were very moldy and the was a small roach on the sink.The towels were dingy and very old. No face towels provided. Fortunately for us, the location was 5 stars. You could walk everywhere from the hotel. The Zocalo, where all the action is, was a 2-3 minute walk.

Nice spot. Clean rooms, friendly front desk attendant! It’s a VERY busy and although it says it has parking, the spaces are limited and your chances of getting a spot are slim to none. There is nearby paid parking though.
